 Family-owned and operated by James & Somerlyn Bouler, our business began in 2021 with a shared passion for upland game birds and hunting. Inspired by James’s childhood memories of his grandfather raising quail and working bird dogs, we’ve grown from humble beginnings into a thriving operation. Somerlyn manages our website and social media, keeping our community connected while James is hands on in the field hatching and growing birds, guiding hunts and training top-shelf bird dogs.

Director of Sales and Operations 

Daniel McGehee was born and raised in south Alabama where he learned to hunt and fish the rivers, creeks, and bays of the Mobile/Tensaw River Delta System. He is an accomplished hunting & fishing guide that has over 25 years of experience on the water and in the woods. 

He served our great country as a member of the United State Air Force. After his time in the USAF, he went on to achieve a Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Education from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. While teaching in the Mobile County Public School System, he received the call of God to the full time ministry. He went on to achieve a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from The River University in Tampa, Florida and a Doctorate Degree in Theology from Kingdom Life University also in Tampa, Florida. Dr.Daniel McGehee has served the Lord and the body of Christ as an evangelist faithfully since 2003. 

Daniel is married to his lovely wife, Shellie, who teaches elementary school near their home in south Mississippi. He is an active tournament angler who has fished both local tournament trails as well as professionally with the National Professional Fishing League. He is currently sponsored to fish bass tournaments through Team419Outdoors. 

With Team419Outdoors, Daniel uses his bass boat as a platform for the Gospel. Since 2020, over 80,000 people across the Gulf Coast region & America have heard the message of God’s saving grace through His Son Jesus Christ. 

Here at Bouler’s Game Birds, Daniel is our Director of Sales & Operations. With his cheerful demeanor, He also aids with dog training, guides, and community relations.
